Summary/Objective:

Be well-versed in network security and infrastructure, including but not limited to local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) support and design, and VOIP.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to IMCU’s branches and back office departments.
• Assist in the testing and implementation of new hardware and software.
• Analyze network performance and recommend changes to optimize performance levels.
• Assist in the review and design of system security to mitigate the risk of security breaches.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for new processes, resulting in greater efficiencies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• One year of experience working in a similar capacity
• Proficient in the following technologies:
  1. Switches and routers
  2. Firewall security design and management
  3. VOIP networks
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. It may also require standing, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 25 pounds), kneeling, crouching, reaching, talking and hearing.
