Job Description
This is a full time Employee Health Nurse (RN) working in a busy Human Resources office at Northwest Medical Center. Responsible for managing the employee health service functions of the organization. Ensures that all medical records are kept in a manner compliant with appropriate policies and procedures. May be responsible for administering employee physicals, injury related diagnoses, or other types of referrals according to OSHA regulations. May provide consultation regarding workers' compensation, infection control or other employee health related issues. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
Education Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Program required.
Preferred: BSN
Experience Required: Two (2) years of experience in Employee/Occupational Health or Worker's Compensation
Licenses/Certifications Required: Current AZ RN license or compact state RN license;American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification.
